Ceremony Options

One of the exciting trends in weddings today is "anything goes". Large, expensive weddings are no longer the norm, having been replaced with smaller, less expensive, intimate ceremonies. Our experience is unmatched when it comes to all the options available today.

Here are Four Wedding Packages that may suit you well:

Elopement Package ($175+GST)

v I just want to get married - this option is for the couple who do not want any fanfare; they just want to get married. There was a day when you had the option of going to the court house or City Hall...not any more! This is the most economical ceremony option we offer. Bring two witnesses (witnesses can be supplied for a fee of $25 each), a marriage license (you must obtain your own marriage license), and get married in a ceremony more amazing than you could imagine! This option is only available in our regional office and includes space for the Bride and Groom and up to 6 guests. There is a $10 fee for each additional guest up to 4. Administration of the legal documents, phone and email support is included in this package. Reservations available Monday through Friday only.

Essential Package ($275+GST)

This option is perfect for the couple who would like to share their day with their closest family and friends. We define an Essential Package by the number of guests, ideally 12-25 and by a simple, meaningful ceremony arranged by our office. The Essential Package includes one consultation with the bride and groom prior to the ceremony date.

We have created alternatives that are fun, memorable, intimate, and very personal. This package is intimate and elegant, in a variety of Muskoka settings. We will marry you anywhere you wish with the exception of a resort venue (see Elegant Package). We have been in parks, at the cottage, by the water, beside stone fireplaces, and more! Administration of the legal documents, phone and email support is included in this package. You must obtain your own marriage license.

v Dock Weddings - are you thinking of having your ceremony on the dock? Whether it is your own dock, a cottage dock or a resort dock we would be pleased to work with you in creating a memorable outdoor/by the water wedding experience.

v Family Cottage Weddings - this option is for the couple who would like to celebrate their ceremony at the family cottage.

v Chapel Weddings - we discovered some special historic chapels in our region that are perfect for that unforgettable, with a traditional feel.

Elegant Package ($375+GST)

This popular choice is for couples who want a traditional or contemporary wedding ceremony at any of our Muskoka Resort/Hotel venues. This package includes our commitment to work with your resort event coordinator or wedding planner. The Elegant Package incorporates an Initial Consultation by phone or online, a Ceremony Planning Consultation with your Licensed Officiant, where you will learn about the legal requirements for getting married and the many ceremony options available to you. You will also receive a 16-page Ceremony Planning Guide, and a username and password to access the hundreds of wedding ceremony resources on our comprehensive web site. Four weeks before your wedding, you will meet with your Officiant for a “Talk-through Rehearsal” Consultation where we will confirm your ceremony choices and finalize all specific requests pertaining to your wedding day. Your Officiant will perform your Wedding Ceremony beyond your expectations. Administration of the legal documents, phone, and e-mail support is included. You must obtain your marriage license. Be sure to book this package early!

Elite Package ($475+GST)

This is for couples wanting a traditional or contemporary wedding ceremony and a "walk-through" rehearsal at any of our Resort/Hotel venues. This package includes everything in the Elegant Package plus a "walk-through" rehearsal provided by your Licensed Officiant and/or Professional Wedding Coordinator.
